Opportunities To Serve
If you have a personal relationship with the Lord and a heart for serving Him you may want to consider the following areas.
Refreshments: Contact Nita McGreer in the church office if you would like to help provide refreshments for fellowship time after the worship service.
Special Music & Worship Team: We have a sign-up sheet in the foyer for special music or contacted the church office. You must be a believer in Jesus Christ and have a desire to glorify God with your musical ability.
Sound and Technology: This includes but not limited to soundboard, projector, web page, photography, audio production, video camera.. contact Jay Lyon or Pastor Russ.
Nursery: If you are interested in helping with the Nursery in anyway you can contact the church office.
Children's Ministries Or Youth: Contact our Christian Education Director Shannon Malmkar or Pastor Russ.
Landscaping & Grounds: Contact head trustee Dave Jantzen.
Greeters: We rotate Sunday morning worship service greeters through alphabetically from our list of regular attenders. Greeters for the week will receive a notice in the mail and are asked to be at church 15 min before service begins to hand out bulletins and welcome others.
Ushers: Are in charge of offering and passing out attendance record books. Contact the church office to volunteer.
Ways To Grow
Bible Studies- Watch your bulletin or check with the church office.
- Men's Bible Study: The men have read through & studied- Nehemiah, Galatians, James, Mark, Gen, Exodus, Leviticus, etc..
New men our welcome join any time! It is on Fridays at 6:00a.m. - Women's Bible Study: Friday Mornings at 6:00 AM in the church library (usually a topical series)
- Evangelistic/New Believers
- Crown Financial Studies- Seasonal
- One-On-One Discipleship- If you're interested in one-on-one discipleship, please contact Pastor Russ
Sunday School- Available for everyone ages 2 and up.
Awana- Wednesday night children's programs during the school year, adult leaders are always welcome!
Cubbies here at GEFC: 6:30 PM
AWANA at New Life Fellowship: 6:30 PM
Youth Group- Wednesday night for Jr. & Sr. High students at GEFC Student Ministries Building: 6:30 PM Dinner Served!
Vacation Bible School- One week during the summer.
Fellowship Activities- We have lots of family activities throughout the year, (Valentine's Day Talent Show, Harvest Carnival, etc.) watch for them in the bulletin and during announcements.
